Dagmar Sieglová works for the Škoda Auto University in Mladá Boleslav as a lecturer at the Department of Language and Intercultural Competence Training teaching business and academic English courses, and at the Department of Management and Marketing teaching public relations. She specializes in diversity management, marketing communication and language teaching. She provides trainings, workshops, and consultations in the field of intercultural communication, leadership and marketing. She also specializes in modern teaching methods with a focus on tertiary education.

The workshop demonstrates a practical implementation of cooperative learning methods into economic English instruction while applying the content and language integrated learning approach. The presented classroom activities focus on work with basic economic terms while enhancing individual language competences. Materials from varied open resources on internet are used to show how the utilize the potential of the modern communication and information technologies. They include textual, graphical as well as audio-visual excerpts from experts and professional publications. The purpose of the workshop is to show how English for specific purposes can be taught in an interactive, modern, qualified, and up-to-date manner.
