The week-long summer school Practical Use of AI in Teaching is designed for teachers, lecturers, and university instructors who wish to develop their skills in applying artificial intelligence in education. Participants will explore current AI tools and possibilities that can enrich lesson preparation, student assessment, and the learning process itself. The program combines hands-on workshops, sharing of good practice examples, and individual experimentation with AI tools. The aim is to enable participants to practically experience integrating AI into teaching across various subjects, enhance their critical digital literacy, and learn to use AI as a partner for creative and effective education.

The world of AI is evolving at lightning speed! For this reason, our 2026 summer school programme is designed to stay dynamic and flexible. The final schedule of workshops and seminars will be confirmed about two months before the course begins. This approach allows us to include the latest tools, trends, and teaching practices, ensuring that participants gain the most up-to-date, relevant, and practical experience in applying AI in education.
B1+ Intermediate (CEFR)
This summer school is for teachers, lecturers, and university instructors who wish to develop their skills in applying artificial intelligence in education.
A) Certificate of Attendance
Participants who attend at least 80% of the sessions will receive a Masaryk University Language Centre Certificate of Attendance.
B) Microcredential
Participants who attend 100% of the sessions will receive the Microcredential.

The programme will take place in the Masaryk University Building at Komenského náměstí 2, Brno, Czech Republic.
The Masaryk University Language Centre is based in the heart of Brno and the city’s cultural and social life is literally on its doorstep. Together with The Centre for International Cooperation, The Teiresias Support Centre for Students with Special Needs and The University Computer Centre with a non-stop service, the Language Centre is housed in a Neo-Renaissance building, opened originally for the German University of Technology in 1860. Today, the building offers state-of-the-art teaching and learning resources and facilities to Masaryk University students and staff-members.
Brno is the capital of Moravia and the second largest city of the Czech Republic. It is mostly known for its modernist architecture, rapidly expanding high tech-sector, café culture and the reputation for the highest quality of life in the country. Brno is also home to six public universities. Masaryk University (www.muni.cz), the second-largest university in the Czech Republic, is the leading Higher Education institution in the region. The Masaryk University Language Centre (www.cjv.muni.cz), the largest language centre in the country, provides language and communication focused services and support to the whole university. It enhances international collaboration and continuous exchange of knowledge, ideas and information on a worldwide scale.
