This is a course for absolute beginners of Chinese. No prior knowledge of the language is required. The course is taught in English.

This course entitles the graduate to obtain microcredentials.
A Microcredential (MC) is an official certificate obtained after completing a specialized course, which includes demonstrable verification of your competencies. It is issued in electronic form, is verifiable, transferable, and internationally recognized. It serves as proof of your further (lifelong) education and can support your academic or professional career.
If you apply for a microcredential in a CJV language course, your teacher will assess your acquired knowledge at the end of the course. To be awarded the microcredential, you must complete two semesters of the course and meet the attendance requirement of at least 70 %.

Masaryk University students can earn credits for this course. To obtain the credits, the following conditions must be met: active participation, at least 70 % attendance, and successful completion of the final test (colloquium). The courses are open to all students.
