The Italian course for Absolute Beginners is for anyone curious about the Italian language who has little previous knowledge. The course will provide you with a basic foundation in both spoken and written Italian. You should be able to pronounce all sounds, briefly introduce yourself; greet someone and respond to greetings, give information and ask for it, invite someone and accept or decline an invitation, tell the time and what day it is. During the classes, you will discover Italian language, culture, and society.
The aim of this course is to develop all four skills (listening comprehension, reading, writing, and speaking) while introducing you to new vocabulary (very high frequency vocabulary) and Italian grammar, with emphasis on comprehension and communication.
By the end of the course, you will be able to communicate concrete needs in common everyday situations in a simple manner (while traveling, ordering at a restaurant, shopping and during various personal activities, etc.). The course is taught in Czech, Italian and English.
"I like the classes, they are dynamic and engaging."
"Nemám co vytknout."
"Lekce mě velice baví, jsou uspořádané, spoustu se toho naučím. Chodila jsem na lekce do jiných jazykovech a oproti nich mám pocit, že se někam posunuji."
"Vyučující je ochotná a podporující."
This course entitles the graduate to obtain microcredentials.
A Microcredential (MC) is an official certificate obtained after finishing a specialized course, which you complete with a demonstrable verification of your competencies. It is issued in electronic form, verifiable, transferable and internationally recognized. It serves as proof of your further (lifelong) education and can support your study or professional career.
If you apply for a microcredential in a CJV language course, the teacher will test the acquired knowledge with you at the end.
More information about the form and use of microcredentials can be found on the muni.cz website.
