Italian for Beginners II

  • 27 February – 5 June 2026
  • MU Language Centre, Komenského nám. 2, Brno

Italian for Beginners II is a course designed for learners who have already mastered the basics of the language. You should be able to speak about yourself, describe others and ask for information, speak about your preferences, express agreement or disagreement with someone and various attitudes, talk about your personal matters in present, past and future tense, and offer, accept, or decline help.

The course develops all language skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) with an emphasis on communication and comprehension. Throughout the course, you will further develop your spoken and written Italian and gain deeper insight into Italian culture and society.

By the end of the course, you will be able to talk about your personal matters in all tenses, to express your opinions, wishes or attitudes, formulate hypotheses, give advice, instructions or directions in the interaction with the native speakers. The course is taught in Czech, Italian and English.

What are microcredentials?

A Microcredential (MC) is an official certificate obtained after finishing a specialized course, which you complete with a demonstrable verification of your competencies. It is issued in electronic form, verifiable, transferable and internationally recognized. It serves as proof of your further (lifelong) education and can support your study or professional career.

If you apply for a microcredential in a CJV language course, the teacher will test the acquired knowledge with you at the end.

More information about the form and use of microcredentials can be found on the muni.cz website.
