|IMPACT – innovation in language education
The main aim of the project IMPACT is to transform the quality of foreign language education in the Czech higher education environment. The uniqueness of the project lies in presenting a wide range of the latest educational approaches and tools having yet to be methodically elaborated in the Czech Republic. To ensure compliance with the needs of the labour market and international competitiveness, the project engages a significant number of practicing experts from here and abroad in its activities.The project implementation period is from 6/2012 to 4/2015. The project focuses on teaching German as a foreign language. It supports the approach to new didactic aids while developing and expanding new learning materials. Besides creating language courses, the project also aims to make information available that concerns administrative and practical matters in Germany and Austria.The project implementation period is from 11/2011 to 10/2013. |CZKey – Online Platform for Learning Medical Czech
The goals of a new international project coordinated by the Language Centre MU are to improve access to Czech language learning for wide audiences from and beyond Europe, particularly for medical staff. It will be accomplished by developing free online courses with multimedia content, interactive tools and information on working in the medical sector in the Czech Republic. The partners of the project are Edukácia@Internet (SK), Studio Gaus (DE), Association of Teachers of Czech as a Foreign Language (CZ), Fachhochschule Burgenland (AT) and University of Silesia in Katowice (PL). |EILC – Erasmus Intensive Language Course
The project EILC supports preparation and implementation of courses for students coming to the Czech Republic within the framework of the ERASMUS programme. Over two weeks of intensive learning in this course, students learn the basics of Czech and become familiar with Czech culture, history and customs.Implementation has been ongoing since 2006.
