Czech for Exchange Students - Absolute Beginners II

Who is it for?
- for all international students at Masaryk University and any foreigner interested in learning basic Czech and getting to know Czech life, who have completed the course Czech for Exchange Students - Absolute Beginners or are familiar with these topics in Czech language: introducing yourself (formal and informal style), verb to be, to do, counting 1–100, ordering in restaurants, shopping (dialogue and simple phrases), orientation, time, making an appointment, travelling inside the city and international travel, human body, Czech traditions.
What will you learn?
- This course builds on the beginners’ Czech course, where we learned, among other things, how to order coffee, ask for directions, and use basic phrases needed for university life.
- In this follow-up course, we will learn, for example, how to talk about ourselves and our families, arrange a meeting, and recognize famous figures from Czech history, through which we will also discover more about Czech culture.
