The course will be taught in-person if the epidemiologic situation in Czech Republic allows in-person teaching. If the government restrictions change and in-person classes will not be allowed, please be aware that the course automatically switches into online mode without a possibility of reimbursement.

Participants in this course will acquire the skills needed to communicate in everyday scenarios. They will learn to talk about themselves, their professions, families and friends, daily routines, likes and dislikes, their home and neighborhood. They will practice asking and answering questions in formal and informal contexts, and they will learn to navigate routine transactional situations (at the market, at the restaurant or cafe, at the hotel). This course prioritizes the communicative method of language instruction, so come ready to speak, try out new things and actively interact with your coursemates. No previous knowledge of Spanish required.
