Summer AI Lab

  • 13 – 17 July 2026
  • Masaryk University Language Centre, Komenského nám. 2, Brno, Czech Republic

About the Course

Artificial intelligence is changing the way we work — and fast.
This one-week Summer AI Lab will help you understand the newest AI tools and use them to make your daily work easier and more effective.

This year’s focus is on agentic AI – smart AI systems that can plan, act, and support you automatically. You’ll learn how to design your own custom AI assistant or chatbot for your workflow — for example, to help with scheduling, data processing, communication, or reports.

The course is designed for university administrative staff and managers. You don’t need a technical background — just curiosity and a laptop. Most sessions are practical: you’ll work with real AI tools, create your own projects, and test what they can do for you.

Why choose Summer AI Lab?

  • Learn by doing: Work with real AI tools every day
  • Small groups: Maximum 12 participants for personalized attention
  • Practical focus: Learn skills you can use at work immediately
  • Supportive environment: Learn, experiment, share and grow together

What can you expect?

Over the week you will:

  • Explore the basics of agentic AI – what it is, how it differs from traditional AI tools, and where it’s heading.
  • Build your own custom chatbot or AI assistant for everyday work tasks such as document management, scheduling, email automation, or data reporting.
  • Work with real AI tools and platforms, connecting your assistant to tasks, systems, and processes you already use.
  • Develop practical skills in workflow automation – how to map a process, decide where AI can help (and where it can’t), and make it work in practice.
  • Use AI for data-driven decision-making by creating reports, summaries, and visual presentations of your data.
  • Understand and apply responsible AI practices, including data protection, privacy, ethics, and sustainable use.
  • Get hands-on experience in AI integration and multimodality, linking your assistant to documents, emails, presentations, and even voice or image tools.
