"International Perspectives on Teaching and Learning Academic English in Turbulent Times" was published online on 30 September 2022 under Routledge publishing and it shares proven strategies for Academic English teaching, research, and development in challenging circumstances. CJV lecturers Joe Lennon, Petra Trávníková, Alena Hradilová a Libor Štěpánek in the chapter called "Locking down and opening out: Creating new virtual spaces for writers and presenters during the pandemic" highlight three examples of how the pandemic-forced transition from face-to-face to online formats inspired teachers at the Czech Republic’s largest language centre to create more effective virtual spaces for dynamic communication in EAP courses. The book is available digitally through Taylor & Francis.
