EPSULA Info Day

EPSULA is an Erasmus+ Capacity Building project addressing the pressing issues of social exclusion of vulnerable communities in remote and rural areas in Ecuador and El Salvador.

The EPSULA Portal was developed through the last 2 years, and it presents two sections: first, a Collection, gathering more than 40 hours of authentic videos and interviews with communities of Ecuador and El Salvador, featuring 7 Indigenous languages. The other section, the Compendium, offers twelve educational modules, based on the videos from the Collection and innovative and up to date pedagogical approaches, to guide teachers in inserting and approaching the Indigenous heritage in their classes.

The Portal, even though developed within an academic context, has been thought and tested also outside of universities, in events and workshops with museums, schools and specific groups.
