Some Ideas on the Challenges of Contemporary Education

The presentation provides information about the language teaching process at Plovdiv University in Bulgaria, encompassing courses in general English and English for technology. Examples of our project-based learning approach and grading system will be presented. Additionally, an outline of our participation in the international STEAME project will be provided, integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and Entrepreneurship. Finally, our research interests will be addressed, including test creation and evaluation methodologies, employing fuzzy logic for equitable grading.
