EPSULA Portal Launches: A New Gateway to Indigenous Knowledge and Cultural Inclusion
After two years of dedicated international collaboration, the EPSULA portal has officially launched.
This year, our language centre in Brno hosted four groups of visitors for the summer schools for university staff members. We welcomed academic and non-academic staff for three types of programmes - English Mediated Instruction, English Skills, and Creativity in Teaching. Our week-long courses offered practical insight into for example creative theories, materials development, intercultural communication, or language of giving and accepting feedback. The participants also participated in a treasure hunt taking them across the city centre and all the way to the Špilberk castle.
Masaryk University Language Centre thanks all attendees for their willingness to learn, network, and stay open-minded. We also appreciate all the feedback shared as we strive to develop our programmes further. Huge thank yous also go to our guest lecturers Hasan Shikoh (Birmingham, UK) and Daimara Cobas Hernandez (Bayamo, Cuba) for leading engaging sessions and sharing expert insights.
